Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American singer and actress began with humorous rap tracks dealing with issues related to sexual and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood after she released a series of raps. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was her first instrument. Later, she began the classical and hip-hop genres. After concentrating on education, she earned the degree of journalist in college and a women's studies major. She didn't start focusing on music until after she graduated. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a viral hit on the Internet and later appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. The album also featured viral hit tracks like body-positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly with another Awkwafina project NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. Her resume included both author and musician. Now she was looking for a new career path in acting. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in the year 2018 when she appeared in a number of notable films like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her EP "In Fina We Trust".
